My heart aches for you Bill, and family and everyone who was fortunate enough to know Pauline, the kindest, sweetest most caring loving lady ever to walk the Earth. My life was enriched for having known her. I met Pauline on the ski slopes but got to know her during the house party weekends with the ski gang up at Grand Targhee. Pauline was like the best Mom, closest girlfriend and confidant, and wise woman all rolled into one. She made us laugh and feel good and brightened up the room with that laugh. I will miss her so much. My deepest sympathy.

I did not know Pauleen well, but she was very kind to my mother, Mildred Bergener, when Mom was in assisted living during the months before her death. When her dementia got to the point where she could no longer accompany us to Mass, Pauleen visited her to pray with her and bring her Holy Communion. She was so low-key about it that I didn't even know until I ran into her by chance at the assisted living facility. What a kind, loving, generous person! I'm so very sorry for your loss

Anne Paul
