BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, Harry Kenneth Hinck, 83, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 29, 2017 in Brigham City, Utah. He was born on December 30, 1933 in Star Valley, Wyoming, a son of Marion Lyman and Zella Perkins Hinck. He was reared and educated in Star Valley graduating from Star Valley High School in 1951. Harry joined the US Army serving in Colorado and Texas where he received an honorable discharge. He married Marlene Hale on June 7, 1959 in Star Valley, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 7, 1965. Harry worked and retired from Box Elder High School as head custodian. Harry was a true horseman. He loved being around horses and especially loved chariot racing. He was a gifted trainer and also enjoyed teaching the youth in 4-H. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. Surviving are four children: Shauna (Larry) Wade; Shane (Michelle) Hinck; Codi (Agustin) Escobar; Klay (Julie) Hinck; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Loo Hinck and Arno Hinck. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marlene, one grandson, Devon Wade, three brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Brigham City Kotter Canyon Ward, 320 East 600 North. Viewings will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT and on Monday at the church from 12 Noon to 12:40 p.m. Interment will be in Calls Fort Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard of Box Elder County.

I'm so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. He was a fun guy, and a great horseman. It was fun racing chariots with your family. I wish you all the best, and remember the good times.
