WILLARD – Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Elva Lucille Bolster, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 6, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 3, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Jason and Eva Garder Shepherd. She attended schools in Ogden City and at Weber College. Elva married her sweetheart, Clarence A. Bolster on November 16, 1944 in Ogden, UT. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1982. Elva had worked at Wrigley’s, the railroad and retired from HAFB. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crocheting, and loved watching the news. The family would like to thank CNS Hospice, especially Cathy and Jason for their compassion. Surviving are two daughters, Louise Gorder and Janice Leggett, both of Willard; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson that is expected Feb. 2018; sister, Ardith Henrietta DiMarzio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Denise Mckeehan, five sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E. 200 So., Brigham City and a viewing will be held prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
