Dorothy Ann (Dot) Radle Bolieau was a good woman who always put the needs of others above her own. She was kind and non-judgmental, so she had many friends and no enemies. She was born on June 30, 1930 in Ely, Nevada to Dorothy Prout Radle and Lawrence Charles Radle and died at home on June 7, 2017 in the presence of her family and under the care of Hospice for Utah. She was a lifelong Episcopalian and served her church in many capacities including choir member, organist, Vestry member and Altar Guild director. She grew up in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School, attended Weber College and graduated from Cottey College in Nevada, M O. Cottey is supported by the PEO sisterhood, and Dot was an active member of PEO Chapter Pin Ogden for over 65 years. In September 1956 she married Chris Bolieau and they enjoyed a 61 year marriage. Early in their marriage she played violin in the Knoxville (TN) Symphony Orchestra. Together they had three children, Ellen (deceased), Don and Janet. Don and Ann gave us four grandchildren and seven great grandsons. Dot was active in the League of Women Voters in Brigham City, Churchwomen United (from which she received the Valiant Woman award in 2009) and the Acts VI Soup Kitchen. She was a founding board member of the Box Elder Community Pantry in 1969 and a founding board member of Habitat for Humanity in Brigham City. In 1987 she was selected by the Chamber of Commerce to receive the Brigham City Total Citizen award. She has also been recognized by the United Way of Northern Utah for her work with the Pantry. She is survived by Chris, Don and Janet, all grand and great grandchildren, her brother Joe Radle and his wife Kathy, Renee Bolieau and Ann Bolieau (who loved her mother-in-law). She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She was cremated at her request and will be interred in the columbarium at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ogden. Funeral arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Chapel in Brigham City. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 pm at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Brigham City (589 South 200 East). Please, no flowers or plants.

I was saddened when I read about Mrs. B's passing. I have many good memories of growing up as "backyard" neighbors, babysitting and chicken dinners at the Episcopal Church. Chris, Don, Janet and extended family, my prayers are with you during this time.
