The son of Thomas and Sarah Dowell Ball. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked as an aircraft mechanic at Hill Field for 32 years retiring in 1978. He loved ice cream and going on rides. He has always been a hard worker and an honest man. He has a fun sense to humor. Tom and Norma were married on August 22, 1948 at Macks Inn, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Boise LDS Temple on October 6, 2000. Upon retiring the couple sold their home in Willard, Utah and traveled for 8 years around the country as "Snow Birds" spending their winters in Mission, Texas and Yuma, Arizona. They visited every state in the union except Hawaii and that is just because they couldn't figure out how to drive over there. They met a lot of great people. They moved to a wonderful ward and neighborhood in Nampa, Idaho and lived there for about 15 years. They moved to Brigham City in August 2013 to a little house up by the golf course and now Norma resides at Maple Springs. He is survived by his wife, Norma; Four children: Thomas F. (Paula) Ball; Dessie Ball; Connie Ball (John) Dabel; Cory (Alice) Ball; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one sister, Rosie Stratton.
