Graveside service: Willard Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.
WILLARD - Mark Beus Barlow passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital from complications of Leukemia. He was born on August 2, 1949 to Gardner Israel Wintle and Lucile Beus Barlow, he attended schools in Willard and Brigham City before enlisting in the Army. It was when Mark was stationed in Germany that he met the love of his life Rose Marie, they were married in May of 1975 in El Paso Texas where he was stationed at the time. After traveling to many places while in the Army they decided to settle down in Mark’s hometown of Willard when he retired in 1988. They built their home and enjoyed their life together until Rosie’s passing in October of 2009, Mark never has gotten over the passing of his sweetheart and he is now finally able to be reunited with her in heaven. After 22 years in the Army retiring as a Sargent, Mark worked at the Defense Depot of Ogden and Hill Air Force Base until retirement. Mark was always there for neighbors, working on their vehicles or fixing anything that needed fixing. He also volunteered with the Willard Water Company as a Ditch Director for many years. His time in retirement also included his ever growing peach orchard, sitting on his back porch drinking coffee and ice tea and enjoying a smoke. While Mark and Rose had no children of their own, there are many people that count them as members of their families. He has enjoyed special family times with the Thompson’s and Bailey’s, adventures in Moab and Greys River with the Olson’s and VanderSteen’s, and his racing career with the Perkin’s family. These are just a few of the people that Mark and Rosie have touched in their lives, there are so many more that will miss them both. But these are the ones Mark called family, he was a part of our family, not just a friend but a brother, uncle and grandpa, “It’s not blood that makes you family, It’s love” this was true with Mark and Rosie, we loved them both and they have left a huge hole in our hearts. Mark was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, his brother Stanley Barlow and his sister Janet Barlow, he is survived by his faithful friend Max, and all of his friends that considered him a part of their families.A special thanks goes out to his neighbors and friends who have helped so much in recent years, especially Kelly, Mike, Andy and Bobbie for all your help in the last few weeks. Mark was very proud of his military service and the Military Honors will be conducted by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder County. We invite all to attend the graveside service at the Willard Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

Go in peace my friend. We Had some Great Times, (a few bad) But you were always there. Give Rose a hug for me. Jeeping will never be the same without ya. Love Ya Bro.
We became friends the first day we met I loved your company and found myself a better man for knowing you. I hope you have found the peace you longed for. Tell Rose hi for me. And don't worry I'm sure Max will be just fine.
