Lorin was a very special person to me and my husband. His friendship was something of a real story book, with all the laughs, pranks, and mischief. Lorin was a real Huamn Being that always had time for you, with that little twinkle in his eyes. We all lost a most precious friend, and associate. Our deepest condolences to everyone that knew this exceptional Man.

I have such fond memories of our working relationship at Hill Air Force Base. I hired Lorin on one of his jobs because he was not afraid of work. I found him to be a strong member of our team. I'll always be grateful for our great working relationship as well as our close relationship as friends.
I was so sad to hear of Lorin's passing. I am the daughter of the late Sheriff Lynn Yeates. Lorin and my dad had a great friendship. My dad and mom loved going to Lorin's Oregon house and took us there a few years ago and we had a wonderful time there. I met Lorin several times and he was always kind and funny. I am sorry for your families loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
