Farr West – Lee B Velasquez with his best friend and loving wife at his side passed away on Tuesday January 26, 2016. Lee had a long battle with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. Lee was born October 20, 1936 in Center, Colorado, to Narciso (Shorty) and Rosalia (Rosie) Velasquez. He married the only girl he ever loved, Verginia Silva, on the April 15, 1964, in Brigham City. They have four children, Joni (Cameron) Vaux, Brent Velasquez (deceased), Rick (Michelle), Jeff (Kala) Velasquez; 17 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Lee loved to go camping in the pines and fishing in any mountain stream. He belonged to the Bonneville Car Club and continued his passion of loving the classic cars by showing off his 1958 T-Bird at the local car shows. Lee was loved by everyone that knew him. The family wishes to thank the Encompass Hospice for the exceptional care they took of their husband and father and the loving support from Westwood Ward members. A viewing will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Box Elder Stake Center, 420 South 800 West, Brigham City from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. and then a graveside service directly after at the Brigham City Cemetery.
I was so sad to hear about Lee. He was always so nice to our family. We loved him very much.

We're so very sorry to here of Lee's passing. He was a long time friend of dad's since grade school, dad still tells us stories of when they were kids & of course when they worked at ATK together.
