WILLARD - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Irene Emma Sage Jones, 75, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Ogden Regional Medical Center from a fall at her home. She was born on August 15, 1940 in Kiabeto, Arizona, a daughter of Harry and Lucy Tso Sage. Irene graduated from Intermountain InterTribal School in 1959. Irene married James Roy Jones on March 12, 1960 in Brigham City, Utah. They were later divorced. Irene worked at Intermountain School in Brigham City and later at worked at Millcreek Youth Center in Ogden and retired in 2014. Irene enjoyed bowling, traveling, music, traditional dancing, and her favorite pastime was gambling. She loved being with her family and supporting them in their music. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gillies Funeral Chapel, PO Box 704, Brigham City, Utah 84302 to offset funeral expenses. Surviving are three sons, Christopher R. Jones of Willard, UT; Edward Jones, Ogden, UT; Raymond R. Jones of Willard, UT; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister, Katherine Tsinajinnie of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Richard Roy Jones, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Willard Precinct Cemetery.
My deepest condolences to my nephews Chris, Ray, and Ed. You are in my prayers as you lay your mom to rest. I well miss her so very much, my sister(sister-in-law). Stay strong for each other and continue in the way your mother would have wanted for you..love and hugs,
