Dorene Naomi Heap passed away on a snowy December 14, 2016 morning at the Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ogden, Utah. Dorene was the youngest of three children. Born November 28, 1945 to Herbert LeRoy and Cora Savage in Brigham City Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High in 1964. She married Gerald D Peterson on March 20, 1965. They were later divorced. She then married the love of her life Allen Lee Heap on January 29, 1993. She is escaping her children, whom she loved very much; Dennis Peterson, Pamela Peterson, Tammie (Steve) Underwood her favorite son-in-law, Brad (Renee) Peterson, Jolyn (Ray) Call, Kevin Peterson. Twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother and sister. Mom loved her crafts and going on no-where destination drives. She was also a member of the LDS church in which she held and enjoyed many positions. She is and always will be loved and missed by many. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Brigham City 12th Ward building, 139 East 300 North. A visitation will be held that morning prior to the service from 11:00- 11:45 am. The family would like to give many thanks to the staff at Ogden Regional Hospital and Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion they bestowed to her

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. I hope you can find peace with the passing of your dear mom. You will see her again on the other side. It's hard loosing a parent. But look at the beautiful angel Heaven received. I pray that you will always feel her near. She will always watch out for you,that's why she is now called a Angel. My prayers and thoughts are with you that you will feel that peace and comfort that you will need at the coming day's. God bless you and your family at this time.
