BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, Mary Adele Bingham Losee, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2015 with her family surrounding her in Brigham City, Utah. She was born on December 4, 1927 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Oscar Andrew and Amanda Cannon Chamberlin Bingham. Mary graduated from Ogden High School, Weber State College and Utah State University. She married her sweetheart, Robert Dee Losee on December 20, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2003. She was a member of the Brigham City LDS 20th Ward, where she had served as a Relief Society teacher, visiting teacher and a primary teacher. She also was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. While attending Weber State College she was the student body secretary. She taught kindergarten at Jefferson and Lincoln Elementary in the Ogden School District retiring in 1990 after teaching for 21 years. Mary loved being with her family, being at home and gardening. The family would like to thank the staff at Maple Springs Living Community for their wonderful care. Surviving are her daughter, Lyn Cazier of Athol, Idaho; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Losee of Mantua, UT; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one brother, Larry Bingham, Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Carol Ashby of Salt Lake City, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, sons, Scott and Kurtis Losee, parents, one sister, Barbara Burnett, and brother, Richard Bingham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City LDS 20th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Drive. A viewing will be held on the same day from 10:30 to 12:30 at the church. Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted to Gillies Funeral Chapel, Brigham City, UT.
