Interment: Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Rigby, Idaho with graveside at 4:00 p.m.

BRIGHAM CITY, UT – Our loving aunt, sister, and friend, Lucile Barrow, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2015 surrounded by her family at Ogden Regional Hospital from a short illness. She was born on October 13, 1934 in Rigby, Idaho a daughter of Earl Raymond and Jessie Elizabeth Brown Barrow. She graduated from Rigby High School, Ricks College with a four year degree in teaching and received a Master’s Degree at Brigham Young University. Lucile served in the Swiss Austrian Mission for 2.5 years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various callings in many wards. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Eliza R. Snow Society at Ricks College, Latter-Day Sounds Choir in Idaho Falls, Box Elder Symphonic Choir and belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Lucile enjoyed music, reading, traveling, theater, and playing card games with her family. Surviving are her two brothers, Donald & Connie Barrow, Kimberly, ID; Wayne & Marlene Barrow, Garfield, ID; one sister-in-law, Maureen Olsen, Taylorsville, UT and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Norma, brothers, Earl J Barrow, Lynn Barrow, step-brothers, Robert and Marvin Olsen and her step father, Robert H. Olsen. Family would like to give thanks to her family home evening group, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, staff of Brigham City and Ogden Regional Hospitals and members of the Forest Hills Ward. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Eliza R. Snow Society, c/o Vicki Nye, 253 Spori, BYU-Idaho, Rexburg, ID 83460-0125. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Hills LDS Ward Chapel, 25 North 300 East, Brigham City, Utah. Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Interment will be in the Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in Rigby, Idaho with graveside at 4:00 p.m.
