Brigham City – Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Naldi Facer Stokes Cutler, 90, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Willard, Utah on Monday, March 10, 2014. She was born on June 14, 1923 in Willard, Utah to Susie Lucinda Wood and Meshach Prior Facer. She was the second oldest of six children, one sister, Wilma Davis, deceased; four brothers, Don (Elaine) Facer of Coalville, UT; Darwin (Shirley) Facer of Emmett, ID; Lorin (Patty-deceased) Facer of Willard, UT; Jarvis (Rowena) Facer of Willard, UT. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1941 being very active in school clubs and activities. Naldi married Jay Arthur Stokes on March 16, 1946 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. She then married Phillip L. Cutler on December 4, 1967 in Brigham City, Utah. He preceded her in death. Naldi was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various callings. She sang with her mother, Susie in the Willard First Ward Singing Mothers. She had worked for Bushnell Hospital and Defense Depot of Ogden. She loved knitting, needle point, and most of all camping, fishing, the outdoors, working in her yard and being with her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Surviving is one daughter, Susie W. (Mike) Munson of Willard, UT; five grandchildren, Jay (Tiffany) Scoffield of Brigham City, UT; Bret (Jan) Scoffield of Perry, UT; Julie (Will) Clayfield of Brisbane, Australia; Ryan (Maggie) Peterson of North Ogden, UT; Patrick (Heidi) Peterson of Perry, UT, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son, Preston Jay Stokes; one daughter, Lynne Marie Stokes; son-in-law, Roger G. Williams; one granddaughter, Amy Lynne Peterson; one grandson, Chad Phillip Peterson and one sister, Wilma. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Lynn Beard, Integrity Home Health and Hospice for their kindness and loving care to Naldi. Family services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, Mar. 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. She was quite the lady. Always the prettiest, so classy, & she could always make me smile. Lots of wonderful memories. My heart is with you and what you have to go through again. Take care of yourself my sweet friend.
