Brigham - Megan Elizabeth Williams passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Our hearts are broken at the loss of such a beautiful person. Megan was born September 23, 1980 in Brigham City, Utah. She was adored from her first moments of life by her parents John Robert “Prop” Williams and Patricia Poorman Williams, and her 7 older siblings: Shellie Williams, Bryan (Jamie) Williams, Kimberlee (Kyle) Arigot, Jason (Heather) Williams, Jared (Christy) Williams, Brody Williams-deceased, and Joshua (Tina) Williams. She attended Lincoln Elementary, Box Elder Jr. High, and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1999. She received her bachelor’s degree from Weber State University and Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She was also a certified Pharmacy Tech. Megan was known for her love, compassion, and acceptance of everyone. She had a quick mind and an even quicker wit. She had a soft spot for the underdogs of life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her fiance’ Ricardo Parra and her dogs Maizy, Salem, and Gizmo were the loves of her life. She also loved floating peacefully in the water, reading books, watching basketball, and going on “adventures” with her many friends, especially Jill Crossman, who was her “partner in crime” since 3rd grade. She was an excellent softball player and loved sports of all kinds. She was gifted at the English language and was always willing to help others. Megan was preceded in death by her brother Brody, her beloved Golden Retriever Chester, her grandparents Ralph and Martha Williams and Del and Mae Poorman, and three cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Brigham City West Stake Center (895 N 625 W) in Brigham City. A viewing will be held at Gilles Funeral Chapel (634 E 200 S) on Sunday evening November 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will also be a short viewing preceding the funeral Monday from 10 to 10:40 a.m. at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Brigham City cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Ogden Regional Hospital I.C.U. for their excellent care of Megan. They would also like to thank all those who have expressed love and sympathy in so many ways.

Even before I found out Megan was Pattie Poorman's daughter I sooo loved and admired her. She was such a joy to work with at Smith's Phcy spending many hrs talking about "common" things. I am so grateful Chester was there waiting for her when she arrived home..

Our hearts go out to you, Pat and Prop, and to all of your family. Joining the exclusive club, the one for those of us who see our children pass on before we do, isn't something we want to do even once, much less twice. Our hearts ache for you. May you find some peace in the Comforter. We love you.

My Daughter is Jill Crossman and I knew Megan very well from being at my house and always hunting her and Jill down......My heart goes out to the family and to my daughter who lost a very good friend. Megan,
I've known you since we were in 2nd grade together, I remember meeting today the corner of your house riding bikes to school each day. I was there for you when Brody passed R.I.P. I know how deeply you cared for him, along with all the many others who you have given your love and heart to. I saw you sweet heart not very long ago and I couldn't stand to see you the way I did, because I knew that I could not find a way to help you. I feel like I should have just stayed with you Megan because maybe just maybe I could have changed something for you. I love and miss you so much. May you R.I.P. you're an angel. To your parents... How dearly I feel for your loss. You are very stong and have always been such an amazing couple who I know did everything for your family. My blessings and prayers are with your family and I love you all. Megan I await the day to see you once again
