"Together Again"

BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Hannah Cherol Reeve Blake, 87, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Beehive Homes in Perry, Utah. She was born on March 30, 1927 in Hinckley, Utah, a daughter of Arthur Henry and Mary Amelia Cropper Reeve. She was raised and educated in Hinckley, Utah. Cherol graduated from Delta High School and attended Utah State University. Cherol married her childhood sweetheart, Wayne Smith Blake on September 20, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2005. Cherol lived in Hinckley, Orem, Logan and raised her family in Brigham City. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served in the Relief Society, Primary, Young Women's, and was actively involved in the scouting program. Wayne and Cherol served an Ogden LDS Temple Mission and devoted her life to Christ like service. Cherol loved music and embroidery, and had a glorious sense of humor. She spent her time with family swimming, camping and gardening. She worked at LeVoy's, Sandak, Sunrider, Thiokol and Vulcraft. Surviving are seven children: Richard W. Blake; Bruce (Deborah) Blake; Linda (Ron) Larsen; Evelyn Shoell; Carolyn (Curtis) Anderson; Connie (Scott) Bohn; Carl (Carol) Blake; 34 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne, one son-in-law, Neil Shoell, one granddaughter, one great grandson, three brothers, Rex, Ron, and Tom Reeve and one sister, Marylene Dastrup. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the LDS Mission Fund. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bear River City LDS First Ward, 5870 North 4700 West. A viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, and on Saturday at the church in Bear River from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
