Funeral services: Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City.
Interment: Garden City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
BRIGHAM CITY- Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Lorna Elaine Loveridge Farner, 86 passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was born on September 19, 1926 in Lehi, Utah a daughter of George and Olive Loveridge. Lorna Married (John) Carl Farner on November 20th 1946 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Carl passed away on September 9, 2006. Lorna loved her doll collection, was a fantastic cook and great seamstress. She was also a wonderful homemaker and could bottle any kind of fruit or vegetables grown in the back yard. Surviving are her five children, Steve (LaWana), Honeyville; Brian (Jan), Tremonton; Lynn (Annette),Tremonton; Dawnett (Bart) McKell, Ogden; Sharon (Mike) Alder, Hermiston, Oregon; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; one brother Leo (Edna) Loveridge, Lehi. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Carl, daughter Gaye Farner Barnard, three half sisters, one sister and one granddaughter. The family would like to give special thanks to Sharlynn West and Lola Morrison for their years of help, when Mom was still at home and Willow Glen (Health & Rehabilitation) and CURO Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to your local Meals on Wheels. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and on Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Garden City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
