BRIGHAM CITY - Llewellyn Lester Long, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, January 18, 2013. He was born on December 23, 1933 in New Augusta, Mississippi, the only child to George Robert and Helen McRee Long. Lou served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married his sweetheart, Renee Bingham on June 13, 1958 in the Logan LDS Temple. Lou worked as an electrician and retired from Hill Air Force Base. He loved cars, coin collecting, comics, dolls and guns. The family would like to thank Integrity Home Health and Hospice and all the family who came and helped us through this. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations to Gillies Funeral Chapel to offset funeral costs. Surviving is his wife, Renee; three children, Laura Kae Piribauer; Robert Long; Elwyn Long; five grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. Interment will in the Weston Cemetery, Weston, Idaho, where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion.

Aunt Renee, I am so sorry for your loss. The two of you had a long life together and I'm sure it will be difficult to be on your own now. Father in Heaven will watch over you until the time comes that you are reunited. My love and prayers are sent to you with many hugs and kisses.
