BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Lila Sheril Andersen, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 28, 1936 in Logan, Utah, a daughter of Emmett L. and Lila Mary Jenks Clegg. Sheril graduated from Logan High School in 1954. Sheril married her sweetheart, Orval G. Andersen on April 23, 1954 in Logan, Utah. He preceded her in death on April 16, 2000. Sheril retired from Brigham City Community Hospital after many years of service. She loved her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her roses. The family would like to thank AFI Hospice, Willow Glen, Country Lane and Dr. Beard and his staff for their dedication to our mother. Surviving are three children, Dee Lila Spencer, Lonnie (Khristine) Andersen and Rex (Cindy) Andersen; seven grandchildren, Mira (Steve), Lisa, Chad, Paul, Cheyanne, McKenzie, and Codie; eight great grandchildren, McKell, Tyson, Austin, Kaiden, Carter, Kelsey, Casey and Skilee. Also surviving are three sisters, Merna Holden, Patsy (Harrison) Maughan; Peggy (Lyle) Olsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orval, son-in-law, Chuck Spencer, three grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica, and Amber, one brother, Emmett Wallace Clegg. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
I would like to offer my condolences to all of you. I remember meeting Lila at your Mother's funeral. I know she was a sweet and kind person.I also remember the love that you all have for each other. You are all in my prayers.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I sure loved your darling mama. I loved taking care of her when I did. She always made me smile and always wanted a hug before I left. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. She will truly be missed by all who had the honor of knowing this darling little lady. Lots of love and hugs to you!!

Dee, I am glad you got to spend some time with your mom before she passed on. I am sorry we might not make it to the mortuary due to 2 deaths in our family.
