Bluff, UT- James Roy Jones, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was born on May 5, 1941 in Bluff, Utah, a son of Roy and Louise Atcity Jones. He graduated from Intermountain Indian School in Brigham City, Utah. James married Irene E. Sage on March 12, 1960 in Brigham City, Utah. They had four children, Christopher, Raymond, Edward and Richard Jones. James and Irene later divorced. He married Ana Jean Yazzie in Navajo Mountain, Utah. She later preceded him in death. James was a member of the Catholic Faith. He was self employed as a journeyman carpenter. He was the President of the Water Association for his district in the Navajo Mountain Area. He enjoyed bowling, baseball coach, hunting, fishing, and camping. He performed and danced in the Native American Club in Brigham City, Utah. Surviving are five sons, Christopher, Raymond Jones both of Willard, UT; Edward Jones of Navajo Mountain, UT; Edward Greymountain; Elmer Yazzie; five daughters: Emma Bracker; Elouise Yazzie, Elizabeth Eddie, Elivia Holiday; 25 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; four brothers and two sisters, Willis Jones, Richard, William, and Michael Moustache; Virginia Henriques and Rosella Moustache. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 17th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Christopher Episcopal Church in Bluff, UT. A viewing will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the services. Interment will be in the Jones Family Cemetery in Bluff, Utah.

I am so sorry for the loss of dad, we will miss him greatly, but he will always be with us no matter where life takes us. I love you all so very much and cant wait to see you all again.
