BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving daddy, grandpa, great grandpa and great-great grandpa, brother and friend, Dean Steve, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Ogden Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 15, 1928 in Blue Gap, Arizona, a son of Edward and Chebah Steve. He attended high school at Ft. Wingate. Dean married Mabel Curtis in Brigham City, Utah. She preceded him in death on September 19, 1994. He retired as a roofer working for Red's Roofing. Dean loved sewing, quilting, woodworking, gardening, leather work and traditional beadwork. Surviving are five children: Donald Dean Steve; LeRoy (Lek Rainey) Steve; Tony (Linda) Steve; Vivian Steve; Vennie (Paul) Decker; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two sisters, Ellen Damon and Minnie Nez. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mabel, one brother, Dale Steve and one sister, Juanita Joe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Monday at the funeral chapel from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
I know Dean many years he,s very nice and very kind man. He always showing hi smile warm face to me any time he sees me any where. I feel very sorry he pass away. The God will take very good care of him even he's gone i will think of him with my heart.I just want to send funeral funding please send to me a his address please.Thank you and his in our family prayers.

He was very close to our Mother (his sister) Juanita Joe Bizahaloni. He has gone to join her and the rest of our ancestors, the holy people, the great spirit,Jesus Christ,the Creator.
