BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Bertha Jeannine Taylor, 84, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Willow Glen Rehabilitation Center in Brigham City, Utah. She was born on October 3, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Orval Lloyd and Martha H. James Neace. Jeannine was then adopted by Karl and Edna Elayne Renshaw Bashara. Jeannine married Ernest Richard Taylor on September 29, 1948 in Huntington Park, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2011. She was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an active member of the Brigham City 7th Ward, where she had done service in the extraction program and was an ordinance worker at the Ogden LDS Temple. Jeannine enjoyed gardening, driving, interior design and loved her dogs. Surviving are three children, Christine (James) Gardner, Spanish Fork; Bruce (Kristi) Taylor, Bountiful; David (Liz) Taylor, Layton; nine grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren; one sister, Betty (Rod) Hyde, Fallbrook, CA; two brothers, George Bashara, Oklahoma City,OK; Jay Bashara, Grand Junction, CO. She was preceded in death by her four parents, her husband, Ernest, three brothers, Bobby, Charles, Clint and three sisters, Anna May, Martha, and Helen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT and a viewing prior to the services from 10:00 to 10:45 am. Interment will be in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park by her husband.
I haven't seen my aunt since 1987, sorry we lost contact. May God Bless her and family.
