Funeral services: will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City LDS 24th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Drive.
Interment: Salem City Cemetery
BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving sweetheart, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Anna Lou Horrocks, 76, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Brigham City Community Hospital from an apparent heart attack.
She was born on August 22, 1936 in Spring Lake, Utah, a daughter of Ervin Samuel and Edna Loretha Jarvis Bennett. Anna Lou graduated from Payson High School in 1955.
Anna Lou married her high school sweetheart, Marion Lawrence Horrocks on October 26, 1955 in Payson, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on January 9, 1981.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Brigham City 24th Ward.
The family would like to thank Bishop Ernie Anderson for his compassionate care of Anna Lou.
Surviving is her sweetheart, Marion; three children, Gregory Horrocks; Pamela Anderson; Susan (Ed) Solomon; five grandchildren; one sister, Judy Child, and one brother, Ray Bennett.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City LDS 24th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Drive.
Viewings will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and at the church on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Salem City Cemetery.
Rocks, I am so very sorry for your loss. I think about you often and miss our days of working together. You are a good man. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I hope to be able to make the viewing. God bless you all
I am so sorry for your loss. I was a member of the Brigham City 24 ward for 18 years, and adored your mother/ wife. She is a great person, loving, caring and kind. What a great treasure to have her as your mother, and know hat some day she will be in Heaven waiting to greet you. Wrap yourself in her love and memories, and blessing and comfort for each of you in this time of sorrow!!
I'm so sorry. I just found out about the funeral. I would have loved to have been with you in your time of need. I love you two so very much. I felt as if you where like a mother and father to me. Call me sometime we will talk my number 435-452-8303 love you!
Thinking about you and all the memories from when we were neighbors. My kids remembered the popsicles and your kindness.

Brother Marion Horrocks, We are so sorry for your loss. Our family has nothing but fond memories of being your neighbors when Haelee, Sydnie, and Molly were very little, then of course your service to us when our twins were born. We think of you often and are in our prayers.
