Visitation: Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel

Memorial services: Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah

Cremation: under the direction of Gillies Funeral Chapel


PERRY - Our loving husband, father, brother, and friend, Ace Clark, 45, passed away on November 18, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 24, 1967 in Brigham City, Utah, a son of Jay Clifton and Linda Hansen Clark. When his father Jay passed away in 1975, Linda married Tom Bell and he became his dad. Ace was an important part in establishing Bell Heating and Air Conditioning, where he worked alongside his dad learning the trade. Ace graduated from Box Elder High School in 1985. He married DeOnn Thorpe on June 2, 1989 in Perry, Utah. Ace enjoyed, camping, fishing, bow hunting, duck and goose hunting with his boys, watching them ride their dirt bikes and he was always rebuilding or doing a project to keep himself busy. Surviving are his wife, DeOnn Clark, two sons, Taylor W. (Megan) Clark and Kasey J. Clark. He was looking forward to seeing his first grandson in May 2014. Also surviving are two sisters, Tracy (Ethan) Hill; Brandy (Eric) Caldwell; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Donna Thorpe; one brother-in-law, Gary Thorpe and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Clark and his parents, Tom and Linda Bell and one father-in-law, Brent Thorpe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Members First Credit Union, 120 East 1000 South, Brigham City, UT 84302. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah. Family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Cremation under the direction of Gillies Funeral Chapel.

Ace-what the crap!! I am so going to miss your hugs and smiles everytime I seen you!! I love you and your family so much! Deon-my other sister-I love you to the end of the earth, what a happy reunion in Heaven is going on right now! I am quite jealouse of Ace-really! Taylor and Kacey-You are two great young men and are going to make your dad proud! He was so excited about his grandbaby-He is going to be a grandpa!!

Me and my families are broke beyound repair. Just 2 weeks Ace you were out helping my mom. At least I got one more hug.We have had some fun time's lpaying & mostly watching our boy's grow in to young men.Your take care of that baby until he get's her. Im so sorry of the passing of one good guy. We loved him sp much. Just a couple of week's aga he was out helping my mom & I got one last hug. I know how excited you were happy over the arrival of your new grandson. My heart is aching for you at this time. We will miss all the fun time's,Atleast we have goods memories. I know Colton is really going to miss Ace & Brady to. Our lives have been full of adventure's. There is not oly a friendship here you have been My God family before I was born. We loved Ace so uch & our live's are far much better because of him. Please know we are here for anything,anytime or what ever you need. We love you & I know Ace is taking good care of his grandson until he is ready to come into this world. A couple of weekends ago when he was out helping my mom he did it with a smile. Im so thankful for that one last hug. He alway's had a hug for me. We all have been thru so much, but like my mom say's"God will never give us anything we cant handle. & together we have conquered alot. Please stay strong as you know death is tough. But look at all our angel's & I can only imagine the reunion in heaven right know. Bless you my friends and know we are praying & pulling for you!!!

My gosh I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. I always remember him from jr. Hight, and maybe 9th and 10th grade, you guys were obviously a truely beautiful couple who lasted through so many years.. I'm not clear what happened, but I hope he didn't suffer, Life is all to hard, and I'm here if you wanna talk to somebody... 801-686-4711 I know it's been along time, but please keep your boys close.. you know my boys dad passed in 2007 did you? but its different as you two have so many years together..
